The Call for Proposals for Action 2.2.3 “Processing of Fishery and Aquaculture Products” has been published.
The action aims to highlight and enhance the value of fishery and aquaculture products, supporting modern processing practices that improve their quality, competitiveness, and commercial potential. With an emphasis on sustainability and innovation, it contributes to the development of the sector and the strengthening of food security, within the framework of EAFRD 2021-2027.
Beneficiaries of the Action are businesses (natural or legal persons or associations thereof, collective bodies, and other organizations thereof) that operate in the sector of processing fishery and aquaculture products, are responsible for the implementation of the submitted Project for support, and ultimately bear its cost.
The budget for support applications can range from €200,000 to €6,000,000.
The maximum percentage of public aid granted varies depending on the Category of Beneficiaries, the Implementation Location, and the Type of Actions, and can range from 50% to 100%.
The application submission period is set from 2025-12-22 to 2026-04-30.
