The application submission deadline for the Action “Business Partnerships of the Ionian Islands Region with Research and Knowledge Dissemination Organizations” (Call ION67), within the framework of the “Ionian Islands 2021-2027” Program, has been extended until October 30, 2026, 3:00 PM.
The total public expenditure for the Action amounts to €4,000,000, while the 1st amendment to the Call introduced changes to eligible personnel costs, as well as to the project submission and certification process.
The Action funds joint projects between businesses and research organizations aiming at the development of new or improved products and services, as well as the improvement of production processes. The projects must fall within the priority areas of the Regional Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3), such as sustainable tourism, environmental resilience, and artificial intelligence applications.
Beneficiaries: Businesses, Research Organizations, and Other Entities treated as Research Organizations.
Budget per proposal: €50,000 – €400,000
Aid intensity: up to 80% for businesses and up to 100% for Research Organizations.
